I just returned from vegas and stayed at the 4 queens, and i must be the odd ball of the group, as i had good luck with the machines and the help. I'm not a collector or anything, but have always liked the machines, and since they went to the ticket in and out thing(hadnt been to vegas for 3 years, lots changed)i only played the silver strike machines, as it satisfied my craving to get someting worth while out of the machine other than a piece of paper. anyways, i spent about 800 in the silver strike machines the week i was there, june 22-29th, and did very well on them, never losing more than 20 dollars per hundred, many times getting 110-140 retrun per hundred. also landed my self 11 red cappers, 5 sets of each, one girl and one of the sign looking one, and an extra girl one. came home with about $500 of my $800 i allotted for gaming, and the red ones i spoke of so i think i did ok. 2 times i was in similiar sitation as where there was only like 3 or 4 tubes with strikes in them, one being red, and got it within one or two hits after refilling if i tilted it. and the last day i was there it happened and asked if i could get the red that was ready to fall from one tube and the floor manager gave it to me and took the clear that fell after the refill. also have a question. is it ok to post your auction listings on here for strikes? i am selling my sets and was curious. thanks.
