I had previously posted that I was lucky when I traded with John because most all my lost time was just trying to complete our want lists. That took 1-2 months if I'm not mistaken, but when we were ready, it took him 2 weeks to send his bunch after I had sent mine.
Here's how I solved my problem...It occured to me that his e-mail address was an aol one. It just so happens I have an aol instant messenger account although my servor is pacbell. My kid did this for me because I previously used aol. When I switched I didn't want to lose contact with all my chat friends. It appears anyone with a different servor can do the same.
Anyway, I added John to my "buddy list" and sent him various messages when I saw he was online. It was always his son who answered me, so he would call his dad for me. It wasn't long after that I finally got my strikes.
My first message to him was simply "WHERE'S MY STRIKES??!!!". Short and blunt because I was getting irritated. I think John may have gotten a little embarrassed by my interrupting his son too much.
As another poster on this board commented..Go ahead and do your trades with John...he sure seems like a real nice guy otherwise...but don't send him yours until you get his in the mail first.
