Norm-I tend to agree with you. Parents are afraid to discipline their kids because the kid will go to school or somewhere else and say they were beat by their parent, and the parent is either arrested or cited and has to go to court. The same holds true of teachers. The kids get away with murderand these days and no one can discipline them. I am not saying all kids are bad, it is just that the bad kids just out weigh the good kids by a wide margin.
