Jerry - If one of the new strike machines is working as it should it would rotate to a tube with strikes, but in the real world there are problems in the new machines and it seems it is easier for a casino to just fill all tubes rather than contact IGT about the problem. Walt
Walt, this was my understanding when the machines were first being designed and this is why I sat and started to play that machine. I was told in the beginning when these machines first came out that on a win the machine would only stop on a tube with strikes in it. If the machine kept stopping on one tube more often, then the other five, what would happen if that tube was emptied and the other five tubes were more than half full, and the machine landed on that empty tube, would the machine shut down? According to what is being said, the answer is yes! So in other words they would have to come and fill the machine again even though the machine is not empty, only the one tube!
