I agree with you that it seems as though it would be easy for IGT to do. But Jason I still do not understand how filling an empty tube, while your playing, would make it harder to win the red cap.

I would like to look at this a different way. Lets take the strikes at the Hard Rock for example. We all know that the Pink Taco is the hardest one to get. Lets just say that the Pink Taco cylinder was the one that was empty. Being that that strike is the one everybody wants, would a collecter be satisfied if the machine now only had the other 5 cylinders in play and your odds were now 1 in 5 (with no pink taco) instead of 1 in 6 (with a pink taco)? The fact is that if the Pink Taco tube is completely empty, you still have the same odds/chance of getting it as you did if it was completely full. So this example can translate to the red cap scenario. If you have a red cap at the bottom and 4 empty tubes or a red cap at the bottom and 6 full tubes the odds are the same, so what does it matter if the tubes are filled while you are going for a red cap.

I hope no one do not think that I am trying to argue, I am just trying to clear things up. I am a collector too and have gone after many a red caps myself.
