The first 2 of a series of 6 $10 strikes are in play at Sierra Sid's in Sparks. The series is a Nevada series of historical sites. #1 of 6 is a view of Lake Tahoe from the north shore. #2 is a great cartoon rendering of the "ET Highway" in central Nevada. The date of 2001 appears on each strike. Coming soon is a Virgina City street scene; Pyramid Lake; the Reno Arch and one to be decided. A first: bullets on the silver strikes are done in the shape of Nevada.

3 designs of the large 1 pound stike will be issued in 2001. There will only be 52 of each. Topics for the pieces will be the Emigrant Trail, the Comstock Lode, and the pony express. The first of the series will be issued in June.
