The Franklin mint did do a corrected version but I believe it was only put out as a proof and the error was included in the proof like sets. Originally the only way the get the corrected version was to return the error and they would send you the corrected replacement. Very few did this thinking the error would be more valuable. But of course that did not turn out to be the case and the corrected version was the lower mintage coin and it is now a little more valuable than the others in the set. C.T.
