From everyone I talked to I was about the only one who seemed to be happy with the single strike pay machine. Everyone wanted one where you could win multiples. For IGT to give us multiples they have to space out the time between wins. We played a lot at the Palms . Gave the multiline machine a good tryout.
65% of the wins are doubles, about 25 singles and 10% triples. Since most of the wins are mulitples its very easy to pt in $60 or more before you hit anything. Quite easy to win 2 for $100 or 10 for $20. Just depends if you hit the machine just right. Machine plays very very slowly. We once went 25 minutes in between hits as did John Miller. With a lot of patience the multilines pay the same as single lines, just take longer and are not the type that will help bring in new collectors. Might be nice if people emailed IGT and let them know what they think of the muliline machines before they replace everything.
