The monorail was working as of a week ago when I was In Las Vegas. But, knowing the Las Vegas monorail that is NO guarentee. It will be working when you get to Las Vegas.
I payed $3.00 1 way, I rode it only once. But, I think you can get a all day pass for $10.00. You might check to see.
If you are on foot and you want to go to the Silverton Casino. There is a round trip shuttle to the Silverton. That leaves from the Tropicana about every 2 hours. Starting at 10:30 AM. You can catch it where the tour buses go to pick-up and drop off their passengers. The machines there is really tight, plus they mix the old series with the new series. The strike machine at the RV PARK store at the Silverton seens to pay better(then the 1 in the casino) and is quieter. And is the only machine there.
