Re: Our Best worst report from Vegas

I guess I will post my report. I just got back from Vegas on Tuesday.

I first found out about silver strikes while standing in line at the bellagio waiting for the buffett when a guy in front of me had about 6 or 7 that he was showing us. Afterwords me and my friends went to TI where we seen a silver strike machine. I asked the casino manager if they had any for sale and he told us that normally we had to win them but he had a few old ones in the back that he could sell us at face value. I got the parrot, the ship and the Treasure island symbol for $10 each. I then played the machine for one of the new ones and got the 2004 one with the girl on it for under $20.

Then we had to have more so we played at Caesers and I got the new winged victory and the colluseam coin for about $22 each.(all figures are off the top of my head). Then the Aladdin had a couple machines and were Ice cold at 1st. I put in $20 and nothing, my brother put in $20 and about the $15 dollar he hit the london club design, I put in another $20 and right away BAM, I hit a Sinbad coin and just about the same time my brother hit for his second london club so he gave me his double.

Next up was New York New York where my friend put in $70 before he hit his 1st silver strike but the hopper was completely filled so we think that the machine was either brand new or reset. I sat down and hit for a manhattan express and the casino for less than $20. I felt bad for my friend Jeff who spent alot just to loosen the machine for me. That was the end of the 1st day of silver striking which was the day before we left unfortunatly.

Our flight didn't leave until late in the evening so we checked around the Imperial Palace where we had played poker the last few days and noticed two machines and both were being played at the time. One lady walked away with 3-4 and the other machine hit for 2 within a few minutes of each other so I was a little leary about playing. But on my 1st $20 I hit for the pagoda and that was it until later on where I played after busting out of a poker tournament and hit for an America thanks you coin at about the $10 mark. We were all hungry and decided to eat at Don Miguels at the Orleans (my favorite place to eat in Vegas) and right outside miguels was two machines. After we ate my friend Jeff sat down and put $20 in the machine and first spin kicked out an alligator bowling and he cashed out. He got up and I sat down and put a $20 in and hit a gator statue of liberty coin on my second pull. So I cashed out and went to machine number two. I put in the slip that i cashed out from the other machine and first spin hit for another statue of liberty gator which I traded my friend Jeff for his bowling Gator. Two or three more spins later I hit the partying gator coin. We were dumfounded at how hot these machines were. At this point we had 4 coins for less than $5. I decided to play the rest of the credits and hit nothing else.

Needless to say I am hooked, I just wish I would have found out about them on Wednesday not on Sunday.
