to put a nice one in my collection. It might only be worth $60 but it was worth the price to me. Bottom line is, I'm happy to have it and I guess it can't go below $10 if they cash them in..Can it?? No hobby is the way it used to be. Believe me I know. When the Nasdaq was hot, selling lures on ebay was like shooting fish in a barrel. The Japanese were buying them like crazy at greatly inflated prices and even most folks that ordinarily would have been on a budget were driving up the prices of junk. Non rare items should have never sold at Rare prices and thats what happened in the hobby. When you know that 2 million of somethng was made and theres one million of them on ebay, NO WAAYY should they have been bringing $500 each. Same thing probably happened with strikes because it happened in almost every other hobby. As an avid collector, I'm happy to see things back where they probably should be. They will come up again.
