I thought you might appreciate this. I just came from a coin collector friend of mine and he said: I just had a guy come in here with a bunch of silver strikes but he had punched out all the siver centers and wanted to know how much they were worth!!! Sounds like the same kind of person who buys an old pice of furniture and then has it refinished. It is now worth $2000 instead of $50,000 with it's original patina.
