I think the strike-collecting hobby is strong and growing. I think more people are becoming interested in the strikes and the club is getting bigger. The new machines are tweaking the interest and that is drawing more people to the hobby and when the Indian casinos come on board I think we’ll see even more people becoming interested. We’re losing some people but I also think we’re gaining more. We’re going to see some more changes, some we’ll like and some not everyone will agree with but more change is a coming. I think we’ll see less short runs and less error strikes. The prices will continue to fluctuate. Supply and demand will continue to drive the price but as we acquire more collectors and more outlets (Indian Casinos) desirability (great designs) will play the largest part in pricing. That’s my opinion and I’m sticking to it.
However, in the mean time I am going to the tournament, taking all seven of my traders, looking for good deals but most of all a good time with other strike collectors interested in the hobby. See some of ya next weekend.
