Clayton,
I have always provided you a prompt reply to your emails. I was in El Paso (and away from a computer) for the last two days. I emailed you when I shipped the item (Saturday 1-08-05) and also twice since shipping it (one was a reply to you and the other was on the 11th to see if you had received it).
I can respect and understand the frustration you may have felt when I didn't "immediatly" reply to your email (I did reply within 12 hours however) but you must understand that it has only been 3 business days. The item was shipped on a Saturday (see receipt for time) and it may not have gone out until Monday (1-10-05). That means that you have only waited 3 business days before posting on here.
You may not realize this but in effect you have damaged my creditability and reputation with other strikers on this message board. The worst part is that you will probably receive the strike Friday or Saturday, but the negative image you have portrayed of your transaction with me will last much longer.
I am honest and forthright in my transactions with people and I trust you can attest to my courteous and prompt emails. I ship very quickly and provide quick responses to any and all questions. I stand behind what I say and expect nothing less from those with whom I deal. Below is the scan of the insurance slip as well as the actual receipt. I have only modified the receipt by 'blacking' out my Visa accout info. The recepit should as a minimum serve as proof of shipment, and hopefully more so, prove my credibility as a seller. Every transaction I do is treated with accuracy and professionalism no matter the value. This transaction however, tends to be on the low end of the spectrum and I am amazed at the lack of patience before resorting to such extremes as threats and defamation.
I shipped your item as promised and on the date previously stated. There is nothing more that I can do (until 21 days for insurance claim), the item is not under my control.
I called USPS directly to obtain an estimated travel time for this item and they said 3 days. That is where we are at now! The least you could have done is waited an additional day or two.
I expect that once you receive your strike as described and promised (likely by the end of the week) that you publicly (on this mesage board) retract your previous misgivings and that you put as much energy into an apology as you did in damaging my character.
I hope that those reading this will consider this objectively and understand that my problem with ebay has been resolved (it was a misunderstanding on my part) and the suspension expires tomorrow. Ebay had originall suspended me for a non-casino item and has since moved to reinstate my account status.
Thank you, and if there are ANY questions please email me at: smitha3c@erau.edu
Thanks,
~Brad
