I frequent the Orleans (Las Vegas) poker room, which has a Silver Strike machine in plain view. Several months ago I spotted a lady who had been there for several hours!. I stopped by and asked what she planned on doing with her winnings. She said (with excitement), Oh, these can be cashed in at the cashiers cage for $10.00 each!

I told her I would be happy to buy ten of them right then. She agreed and I got ten strikes at face value. I then rushed to where my wife was (to show her my good fortune) at which point she too produced ten Orleans Silver Strikes that she got from the same person.

20 strikes at face value! This convinced me that it was one of the best ways to acquire strikes.
