Seems I remember hearing that. The reason that the 2004 CC>CC silverstrike convention. Could not be held at the Tropicana. Was that the Trop was not taking conventions, after a certain date. Plans were to possibally inplode part of it and rebuild a more modern place. And remodel and up date the rest of it, that wasn't inploded. Since then I have read several short articles. Pretty much backing this up.
However, the Tropicana higher ups, the articles(s) say. Keeps postponing this from happening for one reason or another. If and when this is going to finally happen. Your guess is as good as mine. Only the Tropicana higher ups "might" know if and when this will happen.
