Greetings all, I hope you had a wonderful Christmas!!!! We just got back from Vegas, and I thought I would let you know my experience with the new machines.....Stardust was horrible, Monte Carlo even worst. Barbary Coast had it's good and bad times and I was able to get three of the 200.00's playing on Monday thru Thursday....but when I went back to play the next morning, all the 200.00's where gone!!! gone...it was odd too for the night before, I got number 171 out of 200 and I met a man there who played for numbers 165, 166 and 167, and I traded him my 168 for his 171 so he could have the 4 in a row....so between Thursday night and Friday morning 29 200.00's had been played for!! So, now they are all gone....Palms had 2 machines and to get the Santa is another real trip....I played there "alot", and got three in the 6 days I was there....the machines ran hot and very cold....same with the Gold Coast..either they paid out very good...or you got none at all....Slots of Fun seemed tight so I decided to not play anymore after 30.00 brought no ss from the machine...I did not play at the downtown casino's this trip so I cannot say anything about thoughs machines.....but we had a fun time, saw family for Christmas and had a safe trip back home with no problems.....but at the airport, when leaving this morning at 1 AM, I saw alot of baggage on the floors down there, probably coming in from delayed flights, and there was little floor space there among alot of baggage!!! So, that's the news of what I know for all of you going soon to the tournament...hope you have better luck on the machines for the ss...Oh!!! Forgot to say I did hit the double diamonds, on the ss machine at the Barbary, which gave me 500.00 for a jackpot, and I was excited to see that come up!!!! I miss the multi ss coming out of the old machines!!! I guess thoughs days are long gone... Have a great New Years in 2005....Christine F. Rurup
