Not that I wouldn't mind seeing a Strike Machine in every casino. But the machines here, were soon shut down and removed. I never got the same answer.
(Wisconsin Indian Casino)
One was that they ran out of strikes, faster than they could keep them in stock. Another was the progressive was paying off too often, so the machines were unplugged. The other was that the machines were broken.
Odd part is that the progressive became a fixed Amt. just about everywhere across the country, within the first year.
I thought the designs locally were very good and the Strikes were nice enough that people would want to take them home.
I know people here have one way of looking at things, from the colectors eye, but in the larger picture, the idea is that people will win this $10 coin (worth $3 maybe?) and instead of taking it to the cage for $10, take it home. Every $10 that walks, is 300% profit, above what the machine is taking in.
Ask Norm, I think he kept records enough to come up with the $17 per $10 strike on average. (please correct me if I'm wrong on the number)
Maybe if the machines have TITO coin acceptors and pay in Strikes as well, it will satisfy the casinos?
