A new set of strikes (all restaurants: Terrible Mike's. Arriva, Cortez Room, Monterey Room, Ping Pang Pong and perhaps one more I can't remember) are in the machines. But don't start your engines quite yet. On Friday, they put in the display tokens, but turned so the Gold Coast was the side showing. They said they were going to run out the 2002 series. The machines were about 60-70% full, Bill Brooks and John Miller called me today and said a few new ones were coming out, so I trekked on down. The supervisor graciously filled the machine closest to the buffet, but on top of the 2002. The tubes had from 7-15 old in each. I played the front machine near the players club and got an even split of old and new, so I quit. Couldn't find the Southern California contingent, so I don't know how they did.
The NFR cowboys are all over the casino, so hopefully they will siphon off the old quickly.
