Just got back from my Thanksgiving Las Vegas journey. Silver strikes were far from easy to obtain and few were acquired. The new machines REALLY..REALLY..REALLY.. BITE!!!!!
The new machines had old strikes in them (at least the ones I visited) I did manage to get a couple that I didnt have though at the Las Vegas Club.
Put in $125.00 into the 4 queens machine and only got 1 strike (No red cap). That was tight.
The Palms was almost as tight.. $48 to get 2 strikes and both were the Garduno's.
Seems that the SS will go the way of the dinosaur with the advent of these new machines. Everyone I talked to DID NOT like the new machines and were disgusted that the SS were so hard to come by.
Maybe the Casinos will listen and ask IGT for a different machine.
