Isn't a "Strike" only dispensed from a machine?

If folks want to have fun arguing definitions, I'm not the one. Just pointing out what I understand the difference to be.

I'm sure someone will be happy to correct me, but all strikes are SPTs not all SPTs are strikes. A fine distinction so we all speak the same language.

This also falls into the "who cares" area, because anyone can collect what they want, if they like it.

Just can't wait to see this one get explained from various viewpoints.
