Ric, sometimes you know something is scarce but the average collector does not. It takes a while for the supply and demand to produce the correct value of the strike. A good example is the first issue Hard Rock $20 G mint. I knew this was a scarce strike when it first became obsolete but it took several years to reach its true value if it has even reached that yet.
