I am posting this message because I do not think the Silver Strike Tournament at the Las Vegas Club is fair to residents of Las Vegas.
I sent the following message to Freddie Maatauk, and copied some Silver Strike officers:

Freddie, I am a Las Vegas resident and Silver Striker (#757) - AND I really want to attend the Tournament. Can you please offer a discount to those that live here and don't need the room? There are more of us in this town than you know, and I have received emails from many of them; all agreeing that it is unfair of you to impose room rates to attend. Many agreed that they will not participate.
This is not a conventional policy for other slot tournaments in town. Locals are given a discount. Please regard this message as a tribute to your sense of fair play.
