Many collectors house their collections out of the capsules that the strikes initially come in. First of all the plastics are generally beat up so they are replaced or perhaps you put yours in the airtights witht the black ring, which makes an attractive display. I personally remove my strikes from the case, examine them for mint imperfections and then put them in a paper and plastic coin jacket and label the strike by casino and city, adding description and mint mark. Then I put them in a Dansco Coin book. They are protected from the air and look much nicer than they do in a plastic case. Strikes can be very effectively cleaned...you just have to be careful...Peter
