I was not there, and again have been out of the business for 1 year but it sounds like there is a Tournament version of the game now or perhaps the board was malfunctioning and they wanted to be sure that all was well for the Tourney. If the casino did not change the house #, chances are that it was the same software. If you change ANYTHING relative to the Hold % of the game, hit freguency, etc. MICS (Minimum Internal Control Standards) REQUIRE a whole new machine asset number and a new accounting for the game...

PS:I do not like to conjecture on matters I am unaware of though.so please treat my response as an educated guess!. Someone is able to write software that is legally approved here though since I have seen the new game up at caesar's LT, and it is completely different software and reel strips, each requiring New approvals!!!.
