If you all think that 4 weeks is too long to wait, how about 5 months!!! In an email dated 8/15, John stated he was mailing me 6 strikes in response to 6 strikes I had already sent him. I am still waiting for his 6 strikes. I am also still waiting for a response to any of the many emails I have sent to John about this. I've even posted a message on this board before without response from John (although there was a response from one of his friends stating what a great guy John is). If he is such a great guy and is so dependable, why are there at least 3 different folks leaving messages on this board trying to get him to complete strike trades?
I met John at Lake Tahoe in late July/early August, purely by accident as we both happened to attend a meeting of the Northern California/Nevada CC>CC chapter at Caesars Tahoe. We talked for about 15 minuutes about our mutual collecting interest (including detail of this long delayed trade). I have traded strikes with John on several occasions, and other than the slow turn-around mentioned by others in this stream, I've had no problems before. But almost 5 months without even an email (or the strikes he'd committed to sending) is getting more than ridiculous!! I'm more than willing to give some leeway (everybody has occasional unexpected problems), but 5 months without even a communication!!!
