Peter, you are right, it will say Second Annual LOS VEGAS CLUB Silver Strike Tournament because it is the second one AT the LAS VEGUS CLUB. I guess it could have said THIRD ANNUAL SILVER STRIKE TOURNAMENT but it will not because it is not the third tournament at the Los Vegas Club.

I agree about the first tournament at O’Sheas/Flamingo it was fantastic and a great time was had by all. However, they very unceremoniously backed away from doing any others and they certainly didn’t pave the road. If anything they made it impossible for another tournament like the first one to be held. They did come up with the idea, which is great, but any credit beyond that is not warranted.

No casinos were chasing the Silver Strikers requesting to hold a tournament for them. Our club looked into it and decided they did not want to try and sponsor one. Sooooo, none would have been held if it had not been for one club member, Gary Heinz, who decided to step up to the plate and see if there was enough people who would attend a Silver Strike Tournament and if there was a casino willing to hold it. There was and the rest is history.
