I am afraid you will be out of luck in the New Orleans area. There are 4 casino's in the New Orleans area. Harrahs downtown, Bally's and Treasure Chest on Lake Ponchartrain, and 1 across the river in Harvey on the Harvey Canal. And a Racino is comming sometime in the not to far future.
But there as been no silverstrike machines around there for quite some time. Unless; the new type of machine has been put in very recently. And I have not heard of any.
The closest and only strike machine(old style) is at the Imperial Palace in Biloxi, Mississippi. And last time I was there (about 7 months ago) or heard anything. They was still using the the several years old--car type strikes--. This was confirmed by another striker. I talked to about 1 month ago, that had just came from there.
