Walt, I am just repeating what I heard about the commenerative token. I should not have placed a value on it because,one I have not seen it, two it has not been minted yet and three there seems to be several different tokens in consideration at this time and I have been informed that they are also still in the process of picking the mint.
I also was informed that a three oz Orleans token just went for $170 or so on eBay and there is a series of Caesars Tahoe tournament three oz tokens that go for several hundred each. As for who votes I guess it is the ones that show up at the meetings. The tournament was brought up at the meeting we had at the CCGTCC convention this year and after polling the ones in attendance the President appointed Pam Martin to form a committee to get it rolling. I think they have done a fine job. Your other question was is it open to anyone and the answer is "yes" the more we get signed up the better. The L.V. Club will not restrict who wants to play. Bring all your friends and maybe we can make them SS collectors also. My understanding was we signed up new members at the last one when they found out how much fun we really had and what a great group of people SS'ers are. So, that said, come one come all and bring your friends, neighbors, family for a really great time. It is three months away so start collecting more traders and come on down!
