Ralph - Since you responded to my post I figure you figure I am one of the people who in your words Blast the tournament with nothing good to say, in my post I pointed out that I was sure it would be money well spent if you wanted to meet fellow collectors and share a good time with friends, what I was pointing out is most if not all other slot tounaments offer the same comps but pay back to half the entries ( at least at all the many slot tournaments I have played in ), I am sure it took alot of effort from some people to put the deal together but I still think a better deal could be gotton, strikers don't have to looked at as cash cows to the casinos.
The main reason I will not be attending is the cost since I don't live anywhere near Vegas its either a few hunderd in air fare or an equal amout for gas to attend and it just doesn't fit into my budget.
If I lived closer or if there was a better payback it might be worth the trip as I do belive it will be fun for those who attend.
I might even take the time next time I am in the Reno Tahoe area to check and see if any casinos in the area would put together a tournament, the only question would how many strikers would come to a Northern Nevada Casino for a good time.
