Jim - O.K. so we should just focus on the $5000 first place prize, the $240 spent might be worth the good time that would be spent with other strikers and friends but the rest of the deal is a rip off. 200 minimum entries to get the posted payout and less prize money or places paid if less than 200 entries, so $200 times $240 = $48,000 coming to the casino, the 15 places paid total $10,000 leaving $38,000 less what ever the special token cost and the rooms which everybody says doesn't mean a thing as they are a comp.
This is the worst payout I have ever seen for the number of enties, almost all slot tournements pay out to at least half of the enties.
Another point is what was said about only one room for two entries if they are from the same address, I would have a problem with this if my daughter wanted to come along and play. I do belive each entry should receive the room.
Another person I know phoned to enter yesterday and was told only 2 nights came with the package and he managed to talk them into two extra nights by not taking two rooms ( he used a different address for his girl friend who will stay with him )so it seems if you have a bit of pull you can get it your way.
As I said the money might be worth it for the fun but it is a giant rip off as far as a slot tournament goes.
