What I said was if the bidder had another strike that was the same he or she might be bidding to keep the prices up and hoping to be out bid. I also said that if this was the plan the bidder was a looser since nobody bid any higher.
Its a game that is played from time to time and in this case the bidder if they honor the bids will come out on the short end.
