I think what we are getting at here is whether or not the collector REALLY wants to have a set or not. Agreed that mintages of 777 are NOT rare

If anyone thinks they can average $30 per strike for the Reno Blue SET, more power to them. With no trading and the inherent "tightness" of the machine (12.5-14%) $30 is a pipe dream, and the seller would be losing money! I have a short list of folks that I get strikes for and that is like saying that I should be able to get them new commons for $13....I do not think this is realistic either.

A seller needs motivation to go to a casino and play for them to sell! If the casino won't trade (and many up here have stopped) then the seller would lose money on the sale.....which would make it even harder for those wishing to get new issues from tis area!
