Hmm sounds like a conspiracy. Want the name of another mint? They have been at coin shows and seem interested in making products. Of course this could be the same one, which would mean a dead end.

I'm not a big one for lawsuits and the like, but doesn't preventing another business "company B" from making their product, because "company A" wants to prevent the customer from having said product, sound like some sort of anti-trust issue?
As in, if you make these for the casinos, we won't order from you anymore.
ITG doesn't make the strikes, the mints do. Could be that IGT is a large enough customer that they have the power to apply pressue to the Mfgs.
I do think people are right, that instead of making new SPTs, ITG found that casinos could re-cycle them, which mean less orders and less profits.
When it gets down to the end, I have nothing against IGT making a reasonable profit. Some people here seem to think IGT is in business to make nice collectibles for us, out of the generosity of their heart. IGT is in business and if they don't make a profit on these machines, they will stop all strikes and remove all machines.
It isn't charity work!
