Ric - Like you I will only play the new strike machine when I have a need to get a new strike, I might start buying more depending on the prices. I had a chance to play the new strike machines at two casino's a couple of weeks ago and must say I didn't do to bad as far as an average per strike goes but I still don't like the new machine because it is only a single strike pay.
I also agree with you in as both of use don't like what has happened but then if I were IGT I would only worry about the profit, its been said many times before IGT doesn't care about us as collectors they only worry about the profit.
They have made a machine that can stop paying strikes and start paying other things in a heart beat and I would bet if collectors stop playing the strikes will stop also, there aren't enough peoople playing for just one token to remember their trip by.
