One last thing isn't it funny that they used to call the strikes Limited edition collector coins and then the Silver Strikers club was formed and know they call them Silver Strikes which is the name collectors gave them some years ago.
I've called them silver strikes since day one. I remember asking for silver strikes at the convention in 1993 and was immediately given books of the 999 silver tokens released by Franklin mint and other 999 silver tokens, not the silver strikes we now collect. "Silver Strike" was not a term created because of the formation of the Silver Striker's club either.
Anchor Gaming actually trademarked or registered the term Silver Strike in conjunction with their slot machine program and I believe that was in 1996 or 1997.
Maybe the collectors east of Nevada that collected silver strikes outside Nevada did call the tokens, Limited edition collector coins (series) since that is what was stamped on the outer rings of most. Nevada to my recollection has only had very few tokens with that stamped on the ring. Some that come to mind are the $10 McCarran Airport Blackjack Spades token, the Pioneer Laughlin had a $40 with it and the $20 Sam's Town tokens.
I've also called them SPT's "Silver Premium Tokens" early on, in order to keep the dealers from showing me just any 999 silver token.
