Jerry - With the new type of machine in play you won't have a problem when you ask somebody working for the casino where the Silver Strike Machine is since the new top says only Siler Strike. As far as the decision to stop having $40 and $200 strikes I belive this was a IGT idea not the NGC getting involved but I could be wrong and trying to get an answer from the NGC might be a life long project.
My thoughts are that IGT wasn't selling enough $10 strikes due to the collectors winning and turning in 20 $10 stikes for a $200 strike and the club not needing to reorder more $10 strikes, bottom line at IGT is Profit they could care less about the Strike Collector.
One last thing isn't it funny that they used to call the strikes Limited edition collector coins and then the Silver Strikers club was formed and know they call them Silver Strikes which is the name collectors gave them some years ago.
