I have in my possession a Reno Airport Blue O where the "al 2" in "Special 2" is covered by a round spot, obliterating the "al 2". I have seen at least three other specimens.

My question is: Do we consider this a variant (eg LV Hilton broken H) or a damage? This is not a damage from handling but apparently an Anchor/IGT production problem.
