Alot of us in Florida are looking a 95 - 100 mph winds and 20 inches of rain. We know we are facing loss of power, phone and 7 feet of water in our back yard from a already high lake. Our neighborhood is wonderful and we really all pull together. Jamie has helped 4 people board up their houses and they have helped us with ours. During Charlie, everyone would take a day to get water, ice and gas run. We loss power for almost 5 days. We had 4 trees blocking the road but at day light we had 6 guys with chain saws clearing the road. Charlie looks like a cakewalk to Frances but I know all of us will pull together once agin.
Our house now has 7 adults, 3 dogs and 2 cats, plenty of water, food, gas, and one generator.
We have prepared for the worst and praying for the best.
