But Pete, I thought most of the Strike machines of old did accept a slot card. Casinos that always did, where I normally used a card like the Palms, NYNY, Orleans etc. I gave it some thought and Treasure Islands old machine did have a slot for a card, but it never accepted it. It always blinked red or orange and the print out said something like DGM??

I think they were referring to TI as now having a strike machine that accepts a card now.
