I have collected chips for years but have never started a Silver Strike collection until now.

My question is: So many of the Silver Strikes come in such beat up cases. Is it better to leave them in the original beat up cases or is it better to put them in new cases? Personally, I like the 2.5 x 2.5 holders. I think it is a nice way to display the Silver Strikes so they can be seen. So could I use those instead of cases or does that hurt the value of the strike. I am not really a plastic collector. Where is the best place to buy cases for Sliver Strikes? I have about 200 different now. Would you buy the ones that just fit the strike or would you buy the black ring type? Why?
