Just took a look, seems like only the current high bid amount and the dead bids are shown, not sure I like it but I don't see what it hurts.

eBay's statement reads:
"Only actual bids (not automatic bids generated up to a bidder's maximum) are shown. Automatic bids may be placed days or hours before a listing ends."

So it looks like my highest amount will be protected until that level is reached...
