You're quite correct about the yellow caps being on the Caesars A.C. $10's as well. I personally didn't like the Caesars yellow caps and have replaced all of them in my collection with the clear ones. I don't recall sending any empty yellows to you, but I did send several to a East Coast collector.

My point is that because a strike is housed in a yellow (or blue or red or clear capsule), doesn't necessarily mean it came that way and that premiums should not be paid according to the color of the capsule.

I'm a silver strike collector, not a capsule collector. In fact, I've taken my El Cortez strikes out of their non-standard capsules and have replaced them with the regular size holders that fits in my storage boxes. I'm not suggesting that others do the same... just reporting on what I've done as a matter of personal preference. I know that many prefer keeping strikes in their original containers and that's fine. All I am suggesting is that it is very simple to replace a clear cap with a color cap of a strike that was not originally issued in a color cap.
