I think this also applies to the new machines.
If it's a lawyer I won't hear a thing. If it's an innocent person I'll jump in and help.
If you are asking me to "care" about a csinos profits, don't ask. They are doing fine and deserve everything they win from us. It's a voluntary program, and we make free will donations.
But if the odds are stacked against the player, at a particular game (commemorative limited edition strikes for example) I'm not going to sit on my hands and say nothing. I also won't play the machines.
If people don't play the machines, a couple of things are likely. 1) they will go away, because they don't make money (the reason for having them take up that space on the floor, profit) or 2) They will adjust the pay schedule.
It's reality, the casino's don't give a hoot about collectors or resale values, they care about the bottom line. That's the way they stay in business.
