Ralph, I think you are having fun with us, and also making a good collecting point. Mint condition is just that. A perfect strike in a perfect case. Smart sellers will add that the case may have scratches but the strike is unflawed which means they have opened the case to check the strike...that is what I would do and if I am selling something good I would change the case to match the quality of the strike.
