Frank - You didn't really think the new machines would be better for the players did you. Some people say it pays more credits( cash ) than the old machines but a striker isn't playing for cash they want the strike and I agree it costs more to play for a strike with only one pay line and 3 coins to win a strike. Also saw the picture on the message board of the people who hit the Red White and Blue 7's and got $625, on the old machine you could win up to $1000 for the R,W&B sevens.
It will be interesting to see if a person can find out what the hold percentage of the new machines is as this will determine if players have the same odds of winning a strike on the new machines as the old machines. My guess would be it is going to cost more on an average to win a strike on the new type machines.
