I personally sorry but that life in the new aftermath of 9/11. You most likely were singled out as a random hand scan. This does not mean you are guilty or that you were suspected of carring contraban. The airlines require this be done avery so often (no set number). You are lucky that all of your lugage was not hand inspected. This is also a requirement of the airlines to be done on a rendom basis. Your age meens nothing, as far as who is singled out.
You can directly blame Bin Laden for all your inconvenance. We all have lost some of our rights as a result of 9/11.
