It's very possible I did that large font using a common back for that series since it was supposed to be common. Every so often I would do that on some of the very common ones so I could send in one scan instead of joining two, but I rarely would scan one I didn't have.
I didn't send in a scan of the "better" ones unless I actually had it.
It's also strange that some of the older catalogs would rate the large font as maybe $20 and the small font as, say $30+.
I had often wondered why I had small duplicates and was missing the large.
It seems everyone probably just assumed the large existed and didn't give it much thought.
For the ones producing the catalogs, something like that could easily happpen especially if the forerunners actually had already said it existed.
I'll have to tell Jim Moser to delete that one since I can't find it in my collection.
