I'd sure like to see it at this point of transition from Silver Strikers Chapter to Silver Strikers Club, Inc.
By way of "point of order" are we doing this (changing the organizational name and Constitution) in a manner consistent with our current Constitution?
Perhaps our name change should be a separate action from a Constitutional change. Perhaps our new Constitution should make reference to a roll-over of Silver Striker Chapter members into the Silver Strikers Club, Inc. (Such a statement will solidify the intent of the Charter Membership categorization.) Otherwise, some of the actions could be considered as the development of a new organization, at which point the first 140 people to apply for membership will be the Charter Members of that new organization.
It is not my intent to raise issues and cause problems, I just want us to do this correctlty. Theoretically, we have a Constitution in-place to cover changes. Are we operating in accordance with the provisions there?
Is there a copy of the original Constitution available?
Respectfully,
