Dennis-The strike was mine. When was the last time a 95 Comedy Club was listed on ebay or Jackpot? I know of a couple that sold at last years Convention in the $400 range. I can not confirm this, but have been told that the 95 C Club was a short issue strike. In the last four or five years, I have only seen this strike come up for bid on ebay or Jackpot less than six times.
I paid, within the range you stated, for my first 95 Comedy Club about three or four years ago. The average collector can not afford to spend $350+ for one strike, only the really dedicated or affluent collector is going to spend that kind of money. The available supply of the 95 Comedy Club is not growing any larger, each year a few more collectors take that plunge and purchase those last remaining holes in their collection and the supply is decreased. I still have a few holes in my Las Vegas collection, about ten, which include some CA strikes and couple no date strikes. I may never be able to fill some of those holes.
